Was told she is an Araucana, but clearly she isn't

    Anyone know what breed this is? I was told it is an araucana, but it doesn't have any signs of being that breed. No tufts and it has a tail.

    Whoever told you that lied, she actually looks like a Black Star (or black sex link) it's kind of hard to see but I don't even think that she has a pea comb.

    She looks like a Black Sex-Link (also called Black Stars or Black Star Sex-Links). She is definitely not an Araucana, as Araucanas are tailess, and relatively rare.

    Yep, Black Star. Looked at photos, and that is what she is. Bummer, we were really looking forward to blue eggs!! At least we still ended up with a good breed.
