Was told was a silkie pair but starting to doubt

    When I purchased these chickens I was told that they were a silkie pair. The rooster looks like a silkie more than the hen. So what breed is the hen?[​IMG][/IMG]

    Can you get a better picture of the hen? I agree it doesn't look full silkie but need a better picture to try to guess the mix.

    The hen looks like a Silkie mix. Silkies should have Silkie feathers.

    What kind of comb is it? Looks almost like a single comb. Can you get a close up?

    The hen appears to be a Silkie/Cochin mix. The rooster is probably a hatchery quality Silkie.
