Thanks everyone I appreciate all your help how often typically do they lay eggs the one that laid before the one in the back his name is chuckles would lay every day until it mulched. Are there a different time span with other chickens cause i checked today and have no eggs in the box. Also do all chickens make a song when they are laying?

You should get about 4 eggs a week from each Cochin. The Sussex should be about the same I think. Keep in mind it is winter though. Some slack off or stop altogether.

My Sussex (LS) started laying again in August (I’m in Aus) and she hasn’t stopped since! Well, she has a few days (like yesterday) but she’s a real good layer!
