Is it actually harmful to wash the eggs? I've heard that when incubating you do not wash the eggs because that can introduce the chick to bacteria due to removing a protective film/layer. But does this apply to eggs your saving to eat? I thought that because you put them in the fridge it would kill the bacteria. So is it a bad idea for me to be washing the eggs before putting them in the fridge?

  2. Washing eggs for the fridge wont hurt anything i whipe mine clean.. But for incubator i just take off the large stuff if there is any, and dont scrub.
