Hello BYC members
I haven't been a member long and no chickens yet but we have finally come to the dicision to get some March 11th!
So far we plan on getting one of each of;
Australorp
Orpington
Plymouth Rock
possibly Ameracauna (but at our local feed stores I suspect they are EasterEggers which works too)
I live near Olympia, Washington and our local farm supply shops only carry uber common breeds (RIR, Sex-link, Leghorn, etc). Does anyone know where I can pick up just a couple Dominiques or other Heritige breeds? I don't want to order by mail because we are going to have a very small flock of 3 or so and I want to see the chicks before I buy them.
