Just wondering if anyone has heard of these? They're filtered water bottles that apparently "filter as you drink". I decided to buy one to try it out, since I drink tons of water and love water bottles.

So what do you guys think of it? Would anyone else waste their money on it?

Here's a picture of the one I got.

Well, it's just as sturdy as any other water bottle. It's made out of 100% recycled material apparently. Don't know how true that is.

Also you have to buy new caps/filters for it after 40 gallons of water, or a couple months. The water "bobble" was $15 and for two cap/filter refills it was $12 where I got it from. I don't think it was worth quite that much, but it's pretty cool.

I would go broke. I drink right at 300 oz of water a day. I have a 32 oz mug and I drink 10-12 of those full of water daily. Tap tastes fine to me.

It says on the package to put in in boiling water once a week for cleaning. and the actual bottle itself is not dishwasher safe. It says to soak it in warm soapy water.
