So, this adventurous guy tried to go swimming in my duck's water pail. Mostly dead when we found him. After some swinging, airway clearing and warming he seems okay and is starting to walk a little wobbly and sleeping a lot. He drank on his own.

I'm going to see if he improves, but otherwise any suggestions?

Poor little guy :(! I'm glad you found him in time. I have no idea what would be helful for a near drowning. Maybe using some VETRX to prevent a respiratory infection? But I don't know if it's safe to use on chicks. Keeping him warm and hydrated is a good start.

I'm glad we found him, too. Must have been in there for 10-20 minutes. Poor little dude wasn't responsive and all floppy. Yeah, I'm mainly concerned about a respiratory infection but right now he's all warmed up and resting.
