water filled crop

Hello I have a hen that has a full crop seems like always I noticed it when I picked her up and water came out of her beak I I've had her for about a month one of my friends was gointo butcher her so I traded him a rooster for her she seems to be lazy and on the pertch all the time im not shur if its sour or if it has something to do with the stress of moving her to my farm any help? She dose have runny poop mostly white and she hasn't layed since I got her but was at the other farm?

Sounds like she could be egg bound, as for the crop does it smell? Is it full in the morning?

It has some oder and yes checked her first thing in am and still full of water its not hard

I'm going to say research sour crop. But you should also check if she's egg bound, it's pretty deadly if not taken care of. "Eggsessive" and "casportpony" are very knowledgeable posters they will be more help( I'm sure they see your thread soon).. But for now search egg bound and sour crop.

Sorry can't find any articles on sour crop. I know it's a yeast infection and it smell and if it is the problem you will need an anti fungal like nystatin.

Maybe im way off but isnt the crop between the neck and chest of the chicken?

Hears what im doin I've had her separated from the others she's been on acv water im g iveing her plain ff yogurt mixed with a whole egg even the shell and little olive oil I found this treatment on line any comments or better ways please id love the input my wife is upset someone told her we would have to put her down
