Three-month-old Welsummer pullet isolated herself today. The usually pinkish color around her eyes/on face is pale. She is mouth-breathing while she sleeps. Her voice sounds hoarse when she "talks." She poops water. She is still attempting to eat & drink. I have brought her in the house in a box. Providing her lay crumbles and electrolytes. She just seems puny at this point, not emergent.

Any idea on a diagnosis and treatment beyond what I'm currently doing.

Thanks.

When you hold her up to your ear

Sun. P.M.-lungs were raspy, work at vet, so I
took him in. Have been giving him inj. antibiotic
good now. Indiana has been damp-my humidity
is staying around 90 in coop same as outside
not sure about Texas. Good luck!

Kept her in over night...this morning she had "broken out" of the box and was perched on my brooder box. Poop seems to be solidifying to normal. I've taken her back with the other chickens. She is eating, drinking and socalizing. I'll keep an eye on her.
