Water sealant for wooden incubator

    Okay I have a homemade wood cabinet style incubator that I want to seal. I dug around and all I have on hand is Thompsons deck and Raincoat oil based with the antimildew stuff in it. I'm not really sure about using either one of these because I'm afraid they'll poison the eggs. Will they be okay if it is allowed to air out a couple of weeks? If not what would y'all recommend?
