So one of my 5 week chicks managed to get in the covered water dish (smh) and when I went to tend to them this am she was completely waterlogged. I cleaned and dried her, separated into a different box with a lamp for just herself, and gave clean food and (much smaller) water. Anything else I should do besides monitor?

I don't no what type the waterer is but I add small pebbles or gravel that's to big to fit in their beak in the water do they can still drink from it but if they fall in the gravel stops them from drowning

I thought ducks had to dunk their entire beak in the water do they not have to? or does that leave enough space for them to do that still?
