Watermelon rinds, muskmelon rinds, halved overgrown cucumbers, summer and winter squash seeds and rinds--they'll fight over them.

Cut a round watermelon in half and give it to them. Come out the next day and you will have a silly watermelon helmet! Nutin' left but the hard peel!

My girls love watermelon. There is usually nothing left once they get started on one.

My girls love watermelons, I like to take the "rind helmet" and put it in the compost. I've found they also like peaches, and tomatoes. [IMG]

Rinds???? My guys would mutiny if I just gave them rinds. I have to buy two watermelons, one for us and one for them. They eat them down to the skin - you can almost read a newspaper through the skin, its so thin!

I give them too.Dh complains when I cut the melons, because I like to leave some good stuff on there for the chickens not just the green.
