Hi, my favorite hen is not doing well. I found her in the corner of the pen today - not running around the yard as usual. Her crop seemed rather full of watery stuff - I thought perhaps a blockage was the reason for her malaise. When I brought her into the house to administer some massage and mineral oil, I noticed that she is leaking quite a lot of watery discharge from her vent. It appears to be contracting or pulsing. We do not have a poultry vet anywhere within 2-3 hours of here.

    Any ideas?

She is a 3 year old, good sized light brahmin (heavy breed) with a super sweet disposition.

May be something to do with her crop. Not sure, hopefully someone will post! Has she been dewormed? Are any other chickens acting funny?
