Watery egg white??

I bought some eggs from a different lady at the farmer's market this past weekend, and the whites are very watery. What causes that? If it's something you can control, how to you stop it?

The did cook up fine though.

if the chickens inhale ammonia odors (even at levels that are less than humans can detect).

Thank you! It sounded like she knew her stuff when I spoke to her about me getting chickens and the advice she gave me, but the stale option is definitely a high possible. I don't know where else she sells her eggs but she isn't the busiest at the market, so they may have been an older set of eggs. Hmmm.. Lots to read up on, thanks again!
