Hello - any suggestions or experience with this is appreciated. We first noticed something wasn't right when our normally assertive hen put herself to bed outside the coop, and when we picked her up and put her in, she wouldn't roost with the others. Then we noticed - she had watery green poop. Her comb is up, she hasn't lost weight, other behavior is normal so far. The hens free range daily and have access to layer pellets and fresh water. She is just 1 of three hens with these symptoms. I fixed up water with gatorade, and she readily drank. I also offered yogurt and condensed milk to try to get some nourishment in, and she was interested, but didn't like getting it all over her beak, I think...

What do you recommend? Should she stay with the others or be confined? Should we head to the feed store and pick up some antibiotics for the group?

I'm not an expert, but her crop feels fine. We haven't gotten eggs from her in a few days, assuming due to the sickness...

    Thanks in advance.

I had a hen just recently that just laid around. very lethargic with green watery poo, wasn't interested in eating or drinking. She looked fine. eyes bright comb looked good. She stopped laying. I guaranteed her right away. in about 3 days she was back to being herself. I don't know what it was but it sure had her down for a day or two. I cant tell her from the rest now.
