Waukegan Illinois Chicken ordinance

If anyone from Waukegan, Il is reading these forums I would live everyone that wants to legalize backyard chickens to come to the next city council meeting to talk for 3 min on why they would like to have backyard chickens. The next meeting is on 10/06/2014 at 7 PM.

Hello,

My daughter and I are interested in supporting a change in ordinance to allow backyard chickens. I just read this so we obviously didn't make the meeting. My daughter actually talked with our previous Mayor Sabonjian, and reached out to local "green" activists with obviously little results. We'd be interested in supporting the cause. Feel free to respond if you would like our support.
