While out in the coop today I found this smaller egg that had a cream colored wax coating on the outside. I have never seen anything like this before. Any ideas?

Well eggs are laid with a natural coating. Could it just be that?

The more I think about it, the more I think it may be my first duck egg. My ducks are 16 weeks old, which seems a little young to me and the egg is so small.
