Ok so I have the book Hobby Farm Chickens and for the last two years I have been telling my husband that I want a grower coop with a truck cab roof like the one pictured in that book. He kept saying no, because the fiberglass truckcap his dad gave us would be too heavy.
Today, hubby came home from helping a neighbor and said, "I have a present for you as soon as I can pick it up."
The neighbor gave him an aluminum truck cab and 50-100 foot of chicken wire!! WOOT!
So we're gonna pick up the posts and other lumber, and hubby said he will help me build my grower coop!! WOOT!!
I am so excited about this!! On top of that, he's also building me a brooder coop inside one of my existing coops....that's alot of chicken pens for a man who's sworn off coop building!!
