Hi! We just bought 6 day old chickens last week and this is all new to myself and my 4 children. They are doing a great job of taking care of them so far. They are so cute. I will be relying on this site for tips and I will ask questions as I think of them. Otherwise I am just happy to have a good resource. My husband is going to make a coop this weekend.

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. Raising chickens is a great experience for children. My granddaughter (pictured in my avatar) loves our chickens. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. What kind of chicks did you buy?
