We got back from our youngest daughter's first birthday and we decided to go check out the ducklings at the feed store. Here are the breeds they had:

    White Pekins
    Blue Swedish
    Khaki Campbell

WHAT TO GET?!?!?!? Well, I called Chel and she didn't answer and then I called Cindi and she gave me a quick two minute info lesson on these breeds.

The runners were just too cute, so we were definitely going to get one of those. CC and the store owner said the blues are really pretty so we got one of those too.

Here they are (click the pics for bigger versions).

As my wife and I were posting in the following thread, we're not sure how it will go as they get older (depends on how noisy they get and how much extra care they need) but were going to give it a shot. https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=1071

I am a duck newbie too. It started with the young call, then I got an adult black East Indie, THEN 2 pekins! [IMG]
