Now we have 2 lovely moscovy ducks, they aren't as friendly as we like, but the guy we got them from was really cool and had the nicest chickens ever! He was off in the Philippines when His scovies hatched so his oldest son drove ALL the way to Benson, picked up the ducklings and after that all he did was feed and water them. So the guy wasn't very happy to come home to several feral scovies. So he sold us a laying hen(who hatched 12 ducklings last year) and a HUGE male. The males beak is a little messed up due to a dog attack but he can still eat and drink just fine. We are probably going to keep a trio from the first clutch that she hatches here and keep them raise them and then butcher the male and female. We are only breeding for meat so we aren't to concerned about inbreeding.
