Our easter egger and plymouth barred rock finally laid eggs yesterday. One blue, one brown. I don't remember feeling this excited in the longest time. All that work, time, care finally paid off. Kids ate the eggs today.
    I'll post pics later

All four of my Pullets are about 24 weeks old now, and still no eggs. Bunch of free-loaders, I tell ya.

Eight of my ten are laying now; I'm getting 5-7 eggs a day, and I still check compulsively. Does it ever get old?!
