It's been months since we got a letter from our city council regarding the prohibition of chickens. Even though I was against it, we simply ignored the first letter. We live between Buda and Kyle TX, which both allow chickens. Looking at the wording, it seems roosters are also allowed. Unfortunately we live a house away from the city council secretary. Several weeks ago our chicken got in the neighbor's yard and the dog got to her. She's fine now but our neighbor didn't seem to have a problem with our chickens but she just wanted us to find a way to make sure our chickens can't get over the fence. One thing I find funny is that the council secretary lives next to people who have a pig, which isn't allowed though I don't know the purpose of the pig. I prepared a powerpoint that was modeled after the Flower Mound PP. I'm finding this link helpful http://backyardfarming.blogspot.com/2010/04/tips-from-successful-chicken-ordinance.html Any advice?
