We picked up ten 4 week old ISA browns tonight. We put together a great space for them. They seem to be resting but haven't eaten or had a drink yet. They are in our living room so hopefully they will get used to all the different voices and noises. I guess we are really (finally) doing this! Exciting!

Very good! The butterflies won't last too long. I went back and read a couple of your earlier posts--are you set at ten, or are you still getting some N.H. Reds?
And I was remiss last month, after the big conversion, & did not properly say:

NH reds were the plan but I was excited to get these chicks because I could pick them up in the next town instead of through the mail, and they should start laying in June :). The coop (when it's done) is large so we'll be able to house a lot of birds. Maybe we'll get some NH reds and I like what I've read about the Delaware's too. Thanks for the welcome!
