The piped one hasn't done anything else yet. I know it takes awhile. How long does it usually take for them to start zipping?

Well, it hatched around 2:00. I thought nothing was happening, so I left them alone for about an hour, and Voila! a chick.
do they keep cheeping loudly the whole time they're in there?
Congrats! I had 2 full size Cochins out this morning, waiting on the rest of the Cochins and Silkies to pop out today.

Yayyyy! Amanda is a good chicky momma and now that I see what the baby cochins look like, I won't be able to resist. She lives too close to me!!!
