My dad started talking about expanding the coop [IMG] , when we first got chickens I don't think he liked them as much as he does now. I don't know what brought this on, but I'm fine with him making the coop bigger. [IMG]
I might need a barnyard, lol
    Here is our coop -

I have been trying to get incubator there is one on ebay right now I want. The more you hatch the more room you need. How many chickens do you think this coop can hold right now.

You mean after you build on it or now? If your dad is adding on does he know how big it will be afterwards?

you could probably get about 3 or 4 more girls. You dont want to over crowed. I am building a run that leads up the mountain and down so they have lots of room to roam.

I am talking about after. If before I think your at the limit. Do you know the dimensions of the coop?

Quote:Mine is not finished yet but its going to be over 8/12 feet tall by 10 feet wide. and the length is 10 feet. so I can get a good number of birds in there I think.
