We processed 22 meaties yesterday (Cornish X) at 7 weeks 3 days. The average weight was 5 1/2 pounds. My husband made an automated chicken plucker-worked out pretty well. I took a very short video of it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A70oCCs56Hs

We
froze 14 of them and I canned the breasts of the rest, we froze 1 bag of wings and 2 bags of thighs. I am making stock of from the backs tomorrow.
