We think he’s a rooster but are new to chickens.

We’re pretty sure this is a cockerel but don’t really know how to tell for sure. Could some of you experts help out. It’s a partridge Cochin

I think they are Dominiques my wife knows more about what she ordered but I think that’s what they are we have two one is smaller than the other. But we thought they were both hens. You can tell by that little bit shown in that picture that’s incredible Here’s a better pic.

What about this one? How can you tell with so little of an image that’s amazing to me! I obviously have a ton to learn, glad I joined this page! What am I looking for. I’ve google the heck out of what we have and I though we had the one rooster and we weren’t positive.

Hiw old? I'm pretty sure that's a cockerel. Males have a double barring gene which will make them appear lighter than females

How old are they? Also post picture of the comb and wattles out of the red light.
