I am watching but they don't seem to be doing much right now. Its cute seeing the other ones run past the cam tho lol
Any one care to tell me what production breed of chicken comes out of a store bought brown egg but has yellow chicks?
A hybrid cross, they don't breed true
I noticed it looks like you have the same thermometer that I do.....have you had it long and do you think it is accurate? What about the humidity? does it work?
Ok Maybe I"m reading wrong..you went to the store..bought eggs and then tried to hatch chicks?? I was watching, cute as can be!
Quote:I expected ether RIRs or some hybrid cross mutt. What I didn't expect was all solid yellow chicks with feathered feet. I'm thinking this is some kind of pure breed.
Quote:I've had it for about 2 months. The temp is pretty accurate but the humidity is showing low.
Heres how I tested it.
Quote:Yep, its a smaller locally owned food store. I had an empty incubator an just got some egg there to see if they would hatch. 3 dozen egg an 6 eggs grew. 3 have hatched so far.
