For those that do webcams...what equipment do you use? how do you hook it up? What would I need to set one up? Complete tech idiot here, use small words please.

I use my ancient laptop so that I can take it to whichever classroom is hatching chicks. I also use a basic, usb connected webcam. (this wouldn't be a bad one to use: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-960-000585-HD-Webcam-C310/dp/B003LVZO8S/ref=zg_bs_172511_2)

I go to ustream.tv and it is super easy to get it set up. I plug in the webcam, train it so it's where I want to be. I set up my ustream account. Once I have an account, i click on the "go live" button at the top right of the screen. Make sure the image is what I want on the popup, and then hit the "start broadcast" button. I always mute the sound, but that's a personal preference.

So, you need:

1- something to film
2- computer with internet connection
3- webcam
4- light to light up said object to film.

It's really simple, trust me!

(and my webcam is live if you want to check it out)
