    I need some ideas...

I'm looking for something that's just "me". I love chickens. I love ceramic chickens too. I'm after chicken "statuettes" for the wedding topper but would like to add a bit of hilarity.

I would like to have the wedding toppers "dressed up" if you will. Have the rooster wearing a vest, top-hat, etc. and have the hen with a veil.

I've found some but none have the pretty chicken that I'm after, only the "cute" factor going on.

If nothing else, I will just have to make them myself but after scouring the internet for hours, can't find exactly what I'm after. Has anyone seen something like this?

And, if all else fails...doves go great as a cake topper! [IMG]

There's one on Ebay that looks "serious" or not too cute. Here's a link (Not affiliated in any way!)

There was another one on Etsy but I think it was bought up. Good luck!

My wedding was in April so I started looking at the dollar stores and Wal-Mart for bunnies and chickies. Found some topping skewers and they even wore the right colors (blue and purple). Looked great! Now's the time to look at easter displays ... you might find something you can use, and for cheap! (cheep)
