@ week old chicks outside

My chicks (13of them) are 2 weeks old, i have a 3'x4' by 3' tall wooden box boarder for them. Can I move them outside in it. The boarder will be in a covered area that is fenced in with a heat lamp 250W bulb. The temp here are 60 daytime 46-50 at night. It makes me nervous leaving the headlamp on in my house when I'm gone 13 hour days at work.

I'm new to chicks but I think that is too low during both day and night for 2 week old chicks. I was also really nervous about having a heatlamp in the house! I've used a 90w red floodlight for a week now and haven't had any problems - if feels toasty when I put my hand under it and the chicks sleep at the edge of the light and if they were cold they would huddle up underneath. Still feels weird to leave it on 24/7 but I tell myself it's no different than leaving a bright lamp on.
