    Hello Y'all,

I ordered the ornamental collection from McMurray along with a few others to get to the min. order. I've been curiously trying to find out what type of chick this is with no luck. I did order two S.L. Wyandottes and am wondering if this is what she is? TIA

    Hi Junebuggena,

I'm so new to this I'm not sure what that means or how to look for it. Could you please explain more? Thanks :)

Different breeds have different types of combs. A single comb looks like a small row of spikes. A pea comb looks like a bumpy ridge. A rose comb looks like a flat wedge.

Thanks! I really can't make anything out right now on her comb. Should I be able to tell at a week what it will look like?

    Thank you :)

I'm sorry I didn't realize you couldn't see the pics in my first post. Can you see the 2 I posted below?

I saw the pics, but they don't show the comb. Need to see the chick's face from the front, not the side.

Top of it's head - the comb is on top of it's head goes down between the eyes toward the beak.
