Week Three Pics

These ladies (I hope) are three weeks old today. Im not sure what the breed is but was told that they are brown egg layers. Its still too chilly to let them spend the night in their coop but they sure love to spend the day in it. I keep in a brooder with a light in my garage at night. They are developing personalities and appear to be healthy. They eat and drink a lot! I'm enjoying them greatly. We had a lot of rain last week, to my AMAZEMENT the coop remained dry! Not too bad for a newbie!

and also, it's wonderful that you've started raising chickens! They are wonderful animals that really develop a place in your life and an unforgettable addition to your family. Have fun with your chicks!
 
I hoped most of them are hens, thanks for the info. I'm within city limits and am not supposed to have and roosters. I guess developing a flock might be harder than I thought. I will have to figure it out.
