Weight gain

I have a hen that is recovering from an illness. I treated her with an antibotic. She perked up after the treatment but seems to have lost weight. Is there something that i can give her that will help her put on some weight?

Cracked corn, wheat and soy given throughout the day will help fatten her up. Try a layer feed too.

Try giving her feed high in protein. Starter, grower, Flock Raiser etc. Not layer.

yes she is eating. I gave them meal worms last weekend and made sure she got some. She eats treats when I take them out. I’m assuming she is eating the pellets. I’m not sure she is laying any eggs.

I would back off treats and up the quality feed.
