14 days today & I've noticed that some of my eggs have big, lobed air cells where it looks like the membrane has separated from the shell beyond where the nice round air cell is. I wish I could post a pic but I haven't figured out how to get a nice picture while candling - - maybe need to turn off the flash? It seems to be just in the buff orpingtons that were borderline old when I set them out. I broke out a quitter today & from the inside I could see that the membrane had separated from the shell extending from the air cell. Just wondered if anyone has noticed this phenomenon. I'm not sure I'm seeing good embryos in these eggs.
