Possibly a modified pea. Cant really tell.Thank you. I thought they had to have 3 rows to be considered a pea comb... hers has no bumps/rows
It is a pea comb! My EE's pea combs seemed to develop more as they got older. But it also all depends on the bird like Rhodebar Lover said!
Are modified pea combs a result of the mix? How can you tell a modified vs unmodified. I'm still learning and look before asking for sure. I love this site, its given me so many answers, and sighs of releif!Possibly a modified pea. Cant really tell.
It will get bigger as she gets closer to laying. Right now she's a little ways out, but you'll know as she starts to redden upIf it doesn't develop more that is quite ok, it just threw me off when my other ee comb developed out and hers didn't. They are a little over 20 weeks so I am guessing it will remain like this?
