Weird Comb?

Not sure where to post this, but.... what kind of comb does nugget have?! Its so odd!

She's s 20 week old EE

Possibly a modified pea. Cant really tell.

Yep, she has a pea comb! They can take on a lot of variety. Some have super prominent rows, some don't, all depends on the bird!

It is a pea comb! My EE's pea combs seemed to develop more as they got older. But it also all depends on the bird like Rhodebar Lover said!

If it doesn't develop more that is quite ok, it just threw me off when my other ee comb developed out and hers didn't. They are a little over 20 weeks so I am guessing it will remain like this?

Possibly a modified pea. Cant really tell.

Are modified pea combs a result of the mix? How can you tell a modified vs unmodified. I'm still learning and look before asking for sure. I love this site, its given me so many answers, and sighs of releif!

It will get bigger as she gets closer to laying. Right now she's a little ways out, but you'll know as she starts to redden up
