Weird looking bill, unsure if it’s infection or just injury from foraging around the yard (sticks, branches, rocks)

Hey all, my duck’s bill seems to be looking rather interesting. I looked at it up close and have wiped it with warm water and dawn to remove any debris. She has water deep enough to clean her nostrils, food and water given daily. I did remove piece of debris last night that was hard and sort of like a cartilage texture that appeared to block her nostril, it removed quite easily and there’s been no bleeding etc. she does seem to have a bunch of tiny scars/scabs when looking closely. I’m unsure if this is an injury that will resolve on its own or if I need to apply topical ointment (if so which works best?). She appears to be acting normal, I have noticed her blowing air through her nostrils more frequently but not an outrageous amount. Her bill almost looks molded in a way from the white. Is this normal or should I be worried?

Their breed is Buff Orpington.

Picture with the red #1 is her sisters bill (pickles), rest of the pictures are of hers (olive)

Looks like she has been sticking her bill into places she shouldn't. Mine do the same thing. Grass is always greener on the other side. So they say. Try some ACV in her drinking water. when my gander punctured his bill somehow I put ACV into his drinking bucket and it healed nicely. 1-2 Tab to a gallon of water at that strength it won't sting.
:welcome

Thank you so much! Should I buy ACV tablets at my local store?? Is there a certain brand or type I should get? Is this also okay for chickens to have?

It's 1-2 tablespoons per gallon of water for apple cider vinegar (ACV). You can buy it in the grocery store for human consumption where they sell the different types of vinegar (white, red wine, apple cider, etc). Any brand of vinegar works, it should be a standard low percentage of vinegar. Chickens have it in their water often, usually 1 tablespoon per gallon, but two tablespoons should be fine. Won't hurt anyone, but keep an eye so that you're sure they aren't drinking less because of the slight change in taste.

This almost looks fungal. Did you get it figured out? Trying to learn. 🥰
