I have a large partidge cochin, he is about a year I guess.. But just noticed he is making a weird noise..Kinda like a bark...
this sound is real short kinda like a *wrorp!*
And my 12 week BR is making a repeated high pitched sound like * Peh peh...peh..peh.*
    Is he just maturing?

my 3 roosters that I hatched at the end of march, quack.
They used to let out this long "wwwweennn" and now they just talk to each other. They dont crow. Very strange.

Roos make all kinds of weird noises. One of my BR's whines all the time.

Yea, he's right,.. mine can make some weird noises too,.. one big roo crows then has a long, long wind down ,.. always sounds like his batteries are dying,.. and one of the young ones honks then cackles like a girl,.. and he wonders why he's alone,...[IMG]
