I'm happy with 50% every time (on shipped eggs at least). and my seramas have the lethal gene so I get a few losers there. I'm just happy if I get one bird to show or breed out of a couple dozen. I got offered $300 & $400 for Fuzz at the last show but he's my baby so no amount of money would make me let him go! Just like a baby... as long as they're healthy [IMG]

Blimey, there's no chicken worth that much in the whole of Kenya! I'm only breeding to replace old stock for laying but my blue egg plan remains, despite the adversity (don't wanna seem dramatic or anything [IMG])

So you can't get eggs shipped at all??? yeah thats a lot for a bird but if you sell their offspring, you get between $75-$200+ a bird. people are really into their seramas here. Just like a show dog.... (of course I have mutts!)[IMG]

In Seramas, white is the only accepted color for cage and tabletop. they are working at getting black accepted. And Fuzz is a silkie and took reserve champion of nationals as a cockerel. So he is kind of a "special" bird. He just has the coolest personality-very confident but yet really lovable too. I'm very lucky to have him [IMG]
