I DO! It’s a suburban miracle! He’ll be 3 in April. The sweetest rooster of all time.

That is so cool!!! I remember his whole hatching, mama dying, hens rejecting saga!!

Good memory. That was quite the drama! Poor guy. I still wait everyday for the rooster police to show up. After 3yrs he should have squatters rights, right?

Tomorrow the 3 week old chicks move to the shed. I have 1 more layer of stuff to get rid of, then the little chicken tractor moves in, the extension cord (heating pad) goes in, and so do the chicks!

That's so great! As long as the neighborhood stays the same, hopefully it'll be good for him. He must not bother anybody.

He doesn’t crow at night luckily & we keep him locked in the coop until about 10am, so his morning songs are slightly muffled. Worrying about this bird is giving me grey hair.

Wow I have three roosters in residence right now a silkie with banty he does not crow loud if at tall.. Smudge in the small coop he has 6 girls to his harem and crows loud he a marans of the blue variety .. Last but not least Red he is EE

Oh, and I'm pretty sure that of the 16 chicks I kept, only 4 are pullets. Yikes. And they're not the best eating cockerels - light bodied and very active. Oh well.
