Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Pert, the devastation of the ash trees around here is almost unimagineable. Between the after affects of Hurricane Sandy and the ash borers the woodpecker population is booming. I'll have to check on the reforestation in the Sourlands. They lost all the American Chestnut trees years ago. Thanks for the heads up.

Only a dusting - more wind and chill.
We have had an entire day long Currier and Ives snowfall. Straight down, no wind and big floaty flakes just sticky enough to make the trees look like they were frosted in meringue. It's still so incredibly quiet outside you can here your own footfalls even in the fluffy snow. The entire day just whispered Christmas.

You paint a beautiful picture with your words. ♥️

Now that sounds beautiful.

Sunny and 73 today. After the rainy, rainy, foggy Oregon weather we had on our trip, this is kind of nice!
Set up a bunch of mics (lavaliere- individual mic packs and their receivers) last night for our school's little production this coming weekend. Did all the trouble-shooting... this one doesn't work - is it the receiver, the cable, the pack, the mic, or did some kid dink around with the sound board??? Sound stuff can be frustrating.
Hope you all have a great week!
