Checking in now, may not have power by morning. Wind is really picking up and heavy snow to start around midnight. Heavy wet snow thru to Monday a.m. then the temps are supposed to tank. If we lose power for too long I may wind up with half grown chicks in the front bedroom, whoopee. We have plenty of generators but no way to run the furnace so that means the fireplace. Usually not a huge problem except, they are talking temps below zero nighttime and low teens daytime by midweek. Getting a bit old for this stuff.

No snow in our forecast yet. In a way in going out status that way but I really would like a white Christmas.

We're all overly stuffed now and I REALLY can't wait to put on some stretchy, comfy pants when I get home. They might have to roll me out the door! Dinner was a huge success but it always is. I didn't get a picture of the dinner table but here's the dessert table! 3 pumpkin pies, a Peanut butter pie, lemon stuff, lemon bars and cheese ball. We always go overboard!
