Kid though, is 2.5 hours up the coast from me, so last I checked, he was NOT getting this horrid slush/snow!
I hadn't realized that the fancy new zip system is for the roof too (different color boards). No roof paper to roll out. Just get the panels up there, and tape the seams. Interesting!
My 3rd son lives 2.5 hours from me, and has bought some land, and is now building a house on the land. The only thing he didn't do was the foundation. And the foundation people were over a month LATE to put in the foundation!Nice..this is going to be? I missed out somewhere.
Oh my goodness. Hassle! We'll it's looking really nice. I'm sure there are a few prayers going out for this, mine included now.My 3rd son lives 2.5 hours from me, and has bought some land, and is now building a house on the land. The only thing he didn't do was the foundation. And the foundation people were over a month LATE to put in the foundation!
As a result of the late foundation, everything else has been a pain, and it has been a panic trying to get the roof on before it snows.
Up at my house we are in the 40s with a bunch of rain. My house had slush/snow last night, and the rain is not warm enough to get the inch of slush to melt!
And, we JUST had an earthquake. A funny.... at first I THOUGHT it was the load of gravel I had ordered rumbling up the driveway 3 hours early. But then it went from a low rumble to a full quake. Nope, the gravel truck is not yet here.
