well i did it !AGIAN! i eggs and placed them in the incubator TUNE IN

like title says . new eggs in the bator . we purchased a pair of emu eggs off e-bay. the eggs were laied last Saturday so this is our first incubation. we dont know if they will hatch but we will try.
we built a special bator with a mini fridge and a small room heater. and purchased the bilbis thermostat controller. the egg turner is a little giant with most of the trays removed but 2 and a pair of napkin holders bent to shape to fit emu eggs. we also purchased 2 thermometers 1 egg thermometer and 1 mercury thermometer for veterinarians . we have a good temp of about 97.5 . cross your fingers for us.

Saw those auctions on ebay. Were they packed well?

yes packed very well. but the box was not labeled. to me that's a big no no. it should say LIVE EGGS or LIVE EMBRYOS . he also provided me with good info of the parent stock and the hatch date . another problem, (to me) he sent the eggs on a saturday! shipping should be done on a mon or tue
