Back in June, we got two cross goats (Danny and Daisy)

Then in October, we brought home our Nigerian Dwarf Wether (Yogi)

Then I was thinking about getting a Nigerian Dwarf Doe, but for various reason decided not to. Instead I started looking at other Dairy breeds. Well today we brought home Hurry Burry Priness Jasmine who is a LaMancha. She is a little over 6 months old. I was able to see her mom and dad. She is so sweet and fitting right in.

These pictures were taken when it was getting dark. I hope to get some better pictures tomorrow. But wanted to share.

When I was cosidering getting You (ND), I asked the same questions. Kate (helmstead) said that what the Nigerian Dwarf's lack in size, they make up for in attitude. And he does.

When they play king of the mountain, Yogi stands up on his hind legs (straight up) and then hits one of the others in the head. He stands his ground when it comes to feed, hay and attention from me.

All of mine are under a year and all within 4 months of age. I had thought about purchasing an older LaMancha (6 years old) but decided not to because I was not sure how she would do with the others.

I love her not having ears. She is so cute.
