Well, I just misted the girls

    Not sure how they felt about it. The temps here are in the high 80's to low 90's here with no humidity. It's the first really hot day we've had with nighttime temps still going in the 40's (odd weather for CA). Anyway, I saw the girls were all panting and covered in dirt from bathing to stay cool. I took the hose and gave them a fine mist. One of the babies, the Australorp, and my older JG (funny enough both black) seemed to like it. The others, well, didn't seem to freak out, but weren't keen on it either.

    haha! My RIR likes water ok but not all my other girls!!

    I bought two cheap personal mister-ers from Home Depot. Yesterday only a couple birds would go near it. Today all were covered in a fine mist. Perhaps because it was 103 degrees today. [​IMG]
