Wellie and RIR gender guess?

Let me premise with that I realize at this age, no guesses are going to be super accurate but it is fun to speculate and I want to see what others think.

These littles are 3.5-4 weeks old Welsummers.

I suspect cockerel here...

Thinking this might be a pullet. She is the most skittish of the chicks and hard to snap a picture of.

And the Rhode Island Reds. Suspected 3.5 week old cockerel...

Hoping this one is a pullet...

Any thoughts would be great! I hope for a Wellie roo anyway. Any extra cockerels are destined for the freezer.

Agree with your guesses. One pullet and one cockerel of each breed; that first one in particular has such a huge comb I really doubt that's a pullet.

Yeah, he's getting quite a bit of pink in it too so I highly suspect. I really want a Welsummer roo anyway so that's great if he is.
