Wellsummer? One is not like the others

    [​IMG]Four of These are supposed to be Wellsummer. One is obviously very different, bright chestnut color with few barred feathers. Any ideas?

    Were they from a hatchery, retail store or private breeder or backyard flock?
    Photos will be needed to id the bird

    Red bird is not a welsummer. If you can get one that shows this bird from the side we can help you figure out what it is

    Looks like new Hampshire red mixed with speckled Sussex.
