Hi, I just got some WH ducklings on wednesday! They are so cute and I love them soooooo much! I just wanted to put this out there so people with WH could get together and talk about them, share their thoughts and advise to others, ect...... So go on. (pics to lol)

There are some rouens in there as well, but the little yellow one are the welsh.

yep they are messy little things and smelly too. I have a house duck and even though he goes out side a visits with the other ducks and chickens he likes to be in the house too, so either he is in his diaper harness or I am following him around with oxine spray and paper towels, thank goodness i have old wood floors. enjoy them while the are little they grow so fast.

yep they are messy little things and smelly too. Yes they are VERY smelly. I had them in my room for about 3 days and its smelled so bad! Now they are on my poarch, with a heat lamp (they had a heap lamp in the house to) my mom kept nagging on me about geting them outside. Lol. I have been taking them swiming almost everyday now, they love it!!! But I still want them in a fence lol.

Thats cool, do you think you have some pics you could show me? I love WH they are beautiful. How many males amd females do you have? What colors silver or gold? How old are they? Where did you get them? Sorry just wondering?

I know exactly how you feel about that. Mine are 3 weeks and starting yesterday I have been putting them in the duck coop during the day and bringing them in at night because of the smell. They are cute, but smelly and have already dirtied up the entire duck coop. You gotta love them though

It's so cute when they chase my mallard ducks (which the are already about half the size of) around. My mallard girls are wimps

Lol. They sound like little sweeties! I love mine, I cant wait though!!! I also cant wait till they start laying lol. I want some duck eggs soooo bad! The two females I have now are about 6 months old and still not laying

! Thats what I got the welsh for. I got the rouens because I have a rouen drake now and a female rouen to. I want some more khakis to, urg hows this I want more ducks! Lol
